We are looking for a proactive and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for qualifying new opportunities, closing deals, and managing post-sales growth for our software engineering and cloud-native application development services across the U.S. This role requires a mix of relationship management, sales expertise, and industry knowledge to drive client satisfaction and business expansion.

Location/time zone: USA – remote (West Coast preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify new business opportunities for our software development and cloud native application services.
  • Develop and execute account-based sales plans to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Conduct needs assessments with potential clients to understand their software and cloud-native development requirements.
  • Present our company’s solutions and demonstrate how they address client pain points.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new clients to portfolio management and delivery teams.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or demonstrated success in B2B technology sales.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology sales, preferably in software development, software engineering or cloud services.
  • Existing network of contacts as potential clients or strong referral relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering and development processes and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience selling software engineering and development services.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
